Guest Policies
Pleasant View Bed & Breakfast is an historic home dating back to pre-1800. For the comfort and safety of you, other guests, the innkeeper and the handyman, and this home, following are some policies regarding your stay.
1Smoking
NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED ANYWHERE on the Inn's property, inside or on the premises. Smoking anywhere will result in an immediate request to leave and an additional cleaning fee of $250.
2Kids & Pets
Sorry, we CANNOT accommodate children under 18 in the main inn. We are unable to accommodate pets of any kind - service dogs are permitted. Moshannon and Cascade will be happy to serve as a substitute canines for the duration of your stay.
3Food and Drinks In Guest Rooms
We work diligently to ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful, memorable experience. That experience includes maintaining high standards when it comes to providing clean facilities, linens, and furniture. We ask that all guests please refrain from eating or bringing beverages into the guest rooms. We have a guest refrigerator located in the loft area that you are welcome to use. All food consumption should be in the dining, common or outside areas of the inn.
4Registered Guests
For everyone's safety, only registered guests are permitted on the second floor of the main Inn. Any one not registered and invited to the guest’s room - for whatever reason - will be charged $50 to your account.
5Keys
There is a lost key charge of $25.00.
6A Few Words
Management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest who does not respect the guest policies of Pleasant View B and B.
7Cancellation Policy
Due to the small size of Pleasant View, cancellations affect the inn significantly. Once you have secured your reservation with a deposit, YOU ARE FULLY OBLIGATED FOR YOUR ENTIRE STAY. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights’ reserved, regardless of their actual arrival or departure date. You may cancel at any time BEFORE 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If you must cancel for ANY reason (this includes but is not limited to sickness, surgery, broken bones, death, or weather) within those 7 days of your scheduled arrival, you will be charged the entire amount of your stay, plus a $30 processing fee. No shows, late arrivals and early departures are considered cancellations and you are fully obligated for the payment of your entire stay.
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you purchase travel insurance. That way, if an emergency of any kind were to occur, you would have additional recourse for cancelling your stay and potentially obtaining a refund.
